I love reading lives of the saints--they were my introduction to the Catholic Church! See if some of these books (and saints) are among your favorites, too...
I am interested in good books by or about Saints. Your video was fine but you talked to fast and the title of the most of the books were too hard to understand. They were also shown too fast to read the title. Do you have a list of good books on Saints?
Aloha Sister: I was just asking my friend Easter if there was a blog for the Daughters of St. Paul in Hawaii. Happy to have found your blog! I will be adding it to my blogroll. God bless and Happy Feast of the Epiphany.
Jody, good points. I was the one who forgot to add the subtitles giving the title and author. Oops! Here is an address for the revised version: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8881648428844065006&hl=en
Came upon your site just browsing. I love the video blogs. What is wonderful about the saints (and saints to be) is the longevity of their stories. So how do we say something about holy lives that has not been said before? Write about possible up-and-coming saints like Rose Hawthorne, Father James McGivney, Father Nelson Baker, Blessed Kateri.
A book is a dangerous thing: it can change your life!
I became a Catholic because of a book. And I became a nun because of a bookstore--the Daughters of St. Paul bookstore in Philadelphia. And for 30 years, I've lived in a bookstore! (It's the perfect life for a book addict like me.)
If you don't have some of the books I mention here, just write to me. As I said, I live in a bookstore!
